Preparations for the second day of our snowboarding course. I didn't have my camera with me on the first day... 8-(
Lee & Stef
Lee is on the model body and is peach gold skin tone.
Stef is on the muscle body and is real skin.
Lee only looks taller because of his boots. They're the same height.
Christian slid this backlip as far as he possibly could. He was sliding the whole ledge every try then trying to grind hurricane the last foot.
This one was one of the straight backside lipslides.
Sunpak 555 left at 1/4, right at 1/2, and far right at full.
Canon 5D Mark II and 135L
Based on the wonderful design made by Ixpia for Akamai, In created my own take on the legendary master of wisdom. The body-frame was based off, but not taken directly from the original. Enjoy.
Tutorial for the original can be found here:
Admittedly, the leather and handle aren't the strong points here. It was more of a deadline and finances issue to go with screws over something a bit better looking like rivets. I really need to source some rounded screw covers...
Looking at the "backside' of the Salk Institute in La Jolla by Louis Kahn. The shadows and the forms of the buildings on this side are even more clean, and pronounced than the inside area. Note the tall, fetished window that lightens what would be a block into a plane that folds over the end.
On the north side, the building appears blue-ish as it only has the light of the sky to wash back upon it.
The backside of maui Hawaii after leaving hana! What a beautiful day, Haleakala was clear and showing all it's beauty!
Pattern: Duck Soup by annypurls
Yarn: Patons Cotton Chunky & Patons UK Moorland DK ( for toggles)
Needles: US 8- 5.0 mm
What a clever little design from annypurls! I'am so pleased with the results.
The built in hood and hood cord are such cute additions to the jacket as are the knitted button toggles. I followed the pattern for 12- months and it turned out perfect! I even used the provisional cast on, which I highly recommend, as seaming is not my most favourite thing to do.
