Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Looking close on Friday is backside… In my opinion, the little Prince makes the best backside pictures. He has a beautiful yellow scarf, he has a beautiful silhouette and his hair looks great from behind for sure. So when, I saw Little Prince looking at this red rocket and the almost full moon, I could not resist and i had to take a backside picture !
Today, I have a special event… We are having a lunch with all my co-workers… The last time we saw each other was before Christmas so we will have lots of to catch up… I dont know when I will be back home (but since it is a lunch, i’m assuming i will be back before midnight … but you never know !) and there might be some alcohol involved… I’m very anxious since during the last 2 years, I lost all my ability to communicate with real people without a screen…Wish me luck !!

Hard to believe that it was last Thursday when the sky went a blaze at sunset with the approaching remnants of Ian heading towards Maryland. From Friday until Wednesday, nearly 5 straight days of wind, clouds, and very cold rain (at times temperatures were around 42 degrees F ... 10 degrees from snow falling) here in Baltimore as this storm was held in place off the coast of Maryland by the regional weather patterns. Felt like it had turned into Seattle, Washington with the clouds and rain never seeming to want to end.
This morning the rains finally ended as I headed to work. As the day ended the clouds were finally starting to break up along the western horizon.
After the long day at work it was nice to escape and get down along Middle River to see what sunset might appear. While not as impressive as the sunset as the storm approached, this ending was still very peaceful and pretty.
The amount of destruction it has caused from Florida and along the eastern coast ... all we can say at this time is good riddance to Ian.
The best side of any old town or city commercial row is the backside. Here is where you will find the most interesting and photogenic stuff. Save the frontside for last. It will inevitably be all fixed up and painted up to to look new. The backside will be a treasure trove of artistic possibilities.

Today is a pink or purple day at Color my world Daily and the theme at Smile on Saturday is backside.
At first I was lacking inspiration but then I had a very promising idea and I just had to get this picture out of my head… But just when I was about to set everything up for the photoshoot, my door bell rang… We had some spontaneous and unplanned visit… Of course, it is super hot in Montreal and people are reconnecting with friends who have a pool. So, my picture had to wait … After the day in a pool, my spontaneous visitors left and I was about to set everything up once again, for my photoshoot but then I had a call from work… So my picture had to wait once again… After my cartography emergency, I set everything up for my photoshoot and took the picture out of my system but then my computer (I believe due to extreme temperatures) had some kind of stroke and I was unable to post process it… Luckily for us, my husband is also the Chief IT of our house and he resuscitated my computer.
So now, as for the picture: Madame Giraffe and her friend Milou are watching the full moon tonight… It is a breathtaking view and even their backsides (and I swear, the « moon » is also showing its backside !! It is the other face of the moon that we are seeing here) are beautiful under the moon light…
P.S1 With all that « action » happening today, I had a very limited time for social media… Please forgive if I didn’t answer your comment !! I will catch up as soon as possible…
P.S2 For those interested : I did my laundry so everybody has clean underwear for the next few days !
