Das nostalgische Gefühl auf Kuba wird sich wohl auch in naher Zukunft nicht so schnell ändern. Die Zeit scheint seit 50 Jahren angehalten zu sein.

I acquired this pioneer wagon in the usual way... scavenging and being the fortunate recipient of projects others have abandoned.

 

I feel no pressure to repair or restore it. I’m content just to watch it continue its decline and, of course, to take a few pics along the way.

 

The convergence of light sources here - yellow from inside the school, blue from moonlit sky and orange from a streetlight - makes me happy. And really, as long as no one’s harmed, what else matters?

OK not really her backside, but taken from the rear! This photo is a desperate attempt to capture something so clichéd in an unfamiliar way.

As my white hydrangea flowers age, they begin another phase of their cycle and show this wonderful deep pink veining on their backsides!
