Even the back yards off the Francis Street stub are long lost. This is as lost as Jerrod and Ivanca and is the next view on my stroll. You can barely see the house through the backyard that seldom sees a mower and requires a blanket for a picnic. HA! Yes, this shot is IN town. Maybe some realtor is trying to get this lot sold.
Hang on, I just got robo call I need to blister.
My investigation into the lost-in-time Francis Street stub by the railroad tracks got interesting after I walked a very few feet. I may have to make another clean up pass in the future. This town scene is a bit archaic by a century if not several decades. Boy. this area in town still looks awfully rural. There are other old back yards ahead.
When I found the dirt stub of Francis Street south of Spruce Avenue on Google Maps, I decided to scope it out. I shot the Pied Piper sidewalk and crossed Spruce to find the dirt street stub of Francis and foliage fence. This lost dirt street ended up being a worthwhile stroll with my camera so I spent time poking. Even Google maps fouled up some street names here. This spot is surrounded by city but certainly does not look like it. I guess that I better follow the dirt road time has squashed to its dregs. People actually live down this (street). I found a local history book title to track down for filling in some early history that is still missing but I will need to travel to find it.
The skies looked like they were going to be blank for the day without backgrounds I can use for photography. Preferably, that should happen on a load of temperate days in the near future. 98 right now as I type.

-- Abandoned 'old Florida' roadside attraction. Circular alligator pens made from concrete are located in the woods. Nature has largely reclaimed the land. It bordered a pond where the gators wet caught. We didn't explore this back area much, because someone was camped out there.
first time i used 2 off-camera-flashes. in this case 2 yongnuo yn560III with the yn560tx controller on camera. the system worked well. great feature to be able to control the manual speedlights direkt from camera with the yn560tx.
one speedlight was placed in the down front right side, the other one ca.2 meters high on the left of the rider.

An old shot (from back in 2016) of a green tiger beetle (Cicindela campestris), in fact one of the first ones I ever took which shows the pattern on the elytra quite well.
This is taken near lake Stensjön (ie Rock lake) in Tyresta National Park, south of Stockholm, Sweden.
I love looking at flowers from the back...so many interesting details that are just as beautiful as the front of the flower...just in a different way. Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!
Three main propulsion engines are present, with a smaller fourth one positioned in the center. The four protrusions sticking out on the sides are modified air vents, which are used for precision navigation in-atmosphere.
21 degrees with a 25 knot wind felt mighty cold at 400am to this florida photographer. Man the wind -proofing of Gortex never ceases to amaze me. Ok back to the shoot, after following the trail for about a mile or so, i came to the front side of Broken Arch in Arches Nat Park. The only problem was in the winter with a sunrise in the south east.. the front of the arch wasn't going to light-up, at least per the garmin gps.Manwhat was i thinking.. pre intell scouts are worth every penny...of course that's if you have the extra time. So after a climb thru some boulders and lose rock etc, i was able to scramble up and thru the arch. It quickly became apparent that the better angle and shoot would be looking to the southeast and capturing some sunrise color!! The key point here is being flexible and arriving at your shoot early enough to not be rushed!! Another fantastic morning and day in one of America's ionic treasures!!
