This mighty old elephant bull apparently did not like the idea of getting a portrait of him. Consequently, he carefully managed to turn his backside into the camera, regardless from which direction we tried to approach him.

(Circa approx. 1984) I think this was taken the day my dad gave me my first camera - a black Minolta Hi-Matic 7sII with a broken light meter. I was twelve and somehow I managed to avoid destroying the thing over the years as I skated around with it. It's still in like-new condition and takes great pictures. When properly focused (something I didn't quite do here), the lens on these cameras is pretty amazing.
This shot was taken while I was laying beneath a launch ramp and my friend Kevin jumped over me.
when i was working on my pics for the exhibition at Aneli's I had hung all of them high up in the sky. One day I saw through the backside of the framework, which is black with my name on it, my silhouette appearing, Strange and intriguing effect. I played around editing today and voila ^^
