FISH and I went backpacking over the Labor Day weekend at Raven Rock State Park, NC. It was only about 2.5 miles into the campsite, but the campsite is 100% dry. Thus we had to hike out each day to refill water bottles. We also say Lanier Falls on the Cape Fear River, the lookout, and the famed Raven Rock. It was incredible.

Backpacking 7/16-7/19 in the Olympics. Started at the Graves Creek trailhead on the Quinalt River, and got up to Enchanted Valley.

Hammonton's Early Childhood Education Center's first graders received backpacks December 17, 2010 as part of the yearly Atlantic County Library Foundation First Grade...First Steps at the Library Project. All the kids received a book in their backpack along with some fun little toys.
