The Backpack's 2011 Staff Xmas party was a sunset cruise on the Jolly Roger Pirate boat in the Waterfront in Cape Town. Everyone had to dress like a pirate. After the cruise we had a spitbraai dinner.
We reduced our carbon footprint by walking to the bus stop and taking the MyCiti Bus to the Waterfont, and our meal was enjoyed with biodegradable crockery and cutlery.
