You can make two different photos one concept by emphasizing the relationship between the two subjects of the photos. It is important to capture all of the similarities between the two objects you photograph. The viewer has to be able to recognize the relationship instantly or the photos do not have enough similarities. The concept behind this photo was what you carry with you everyday. The photo on the left is of my backpack with an asphalt background. It pairs very well with the grey on the backpack. The picture on the left is of the things that are in my backpack. I gave the photo a blue tint because it matched really well with the colors of the asphalt, backpack, and books.
