Lovely ornate wrought iron balustrades made during the 1870’s. These are located at the Limerick Boat Club next to Sarsfield bridge. The stairway is modern but the original balustrades were retained. The structure in the background is the Limerick 1916 Monument dedicated to the martyrs of the 1916 Rising.
The high-rise buildings behind are hotels, of which many were built over the past ten years and now blight the Limerick riverside landscape.
For this project I have decided to create a graphic novel based on the Mafia. More specifically a story based on a war between the Italian and Irish mafia. I apologize for the upload, my scanner is on the fritz and I had to take pictures of my sketches. Next week the scanner will work... because i am buying a new one!

Another card using the Design Block Birthday stamp. First I masked over a couple of the sayings and inked with Versamark, removed the masks and stamped on white cardstock, then heat embossed. Then I inked the sayings I had masked before in coloured ink, used my stamp-a-ma-jig and restamped the image. Added some patterned paper, lace and flowers to finish it off.
