How do I get this onto my iPhone?
There are a number of ways to do this, however I think the easiest and fastest way is to download Flickr’s free app. Within the Flickr app you surf over to my photo feed to view the images (if you make me a contact then I’ll appear in the flickr contact list). When you find one you like, just click the download button and save the image directly to your phone. Quick & Simple!
I don’t have an iPhone. Can I still use it on my phone?
As of this writing this image (960 x 640) should be large enough to be used as wallpaper with the Droid / Android, BlackBerry, Windows 7, and iPhone.
How did you make it?
This background was made using graphic design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Filter Forge, Genetica, Wacom, Alien Skin, Topaz Labs, as well as several other programs.

Before the age of mass media, salesmen traveled door to door demonstrating their wares and leaving product information in households. Manufacturers offered bonuses and incentives to consumers who purchased their products, often in the form of trade cards included with the product or left by salesmen. These colorful, printed trade cards were created by the Woolson Spice Company of Toledo, Ohio. The company created cards to commemorate holidays, seasons, and significant events. The advertising on the back of the cards includes the text, "To secure a picture card like this you have only to Buy a Package of Lion Coffee."

Background color is not Black. You download this, and it will be indication definitely if it looks with the viewer of the PC.
This texture is free to use in your work, but you may not reshare, distribute, or claim/imply it to be your own. I would love to see what you create.
The house in the foreground is Stensigarth on the west coast of Orkney's South Ronaldsay. Beyond the Barth Head peninsula is the Pentland Firth shipping channel.
I found this little guy and thought he would look good on an apple. I actually kept him in a little worm hotel (jar) with leaves and sticks for a day until I was ready to shoot.

A bientôt.

I started this canvas as my "Finger Exercise" of the day ...
I wanted to look into urban photos I had taken Tuesday morning going to work.
The city still gives me a feeling of confinement; a mass of seething person who do things by more automation than envy.
Very happy with the first draft (yes I know a little self satisfaction).
Let me give little detail and no title to give free rein to your imagination.
See you soon.
