I just made this shot to show a friend what you can do using a colored gel (CTO in this case) to color a white wall behind your subject.
Oh, btw, didn't use the lens to brag, it was the only item available on my desk that was large enough to hide the flash. I'm just a starving student after all. :)

I was watering the plants when this grasshopper jumped and landed on our black front door. Perfect background, I thought… that’s the photographer in me… so I rushed to get my camera (using another door). I got a few shots before it jumped away... it pays to have the camera always loaded and ready to go.
texture i did for my photoshop works. the wall paper i used comes from cg-texture - a website with the best free textures i´ve found in the web. there´s a download limit of 10 mb per day.
