How do I get this onto my iPhone?
There are a number of ways to do this, however I think the easiest and fastest way is to download Flickr’s free app. Within the Flickr app you surf over to my photo feed to view the images (if you make me a contact then I’ll appear in the flickr contact list). When you find one you like, just click the download button and save the image directly to your phone. Quick & Simple!
I don’t have an iPhone. Can I still use it on my phone?
As of this writing this image (960 x 640) should be large enough to be used as wallpaper with the Droid / Android, BlackBerry, Windows 7, and iPhone.
How did you make it?
This background was made using graphic design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Filter Forge, Genetica, Wacom, Alien Skin, Topaz Labs, as well as several other programs.

This is my third background image for this assignment. This is my last of my diffused surface shot that I had to do. I like the look of the shiny leather against the steal of the watch. I decided to shoot it against the zipper and try to mirror the way both items were laying. I really like this shot! As usual, this is a two shot composite.
Exposure: F 22 2/3 @ 4 Seconds

Acrylic on plaster. Might make a nice background, especially for line art or black and white graphics in overlay or multiply modes. Let me know if you were able to use it.

I created a Greasemonkey script that allows selecting background color on a photo page.
The script creates a white-to-black gradient box. Hovering mouse over it changes the background color to the one the mouse is currently over.
Additionally all the elements except of the photo on the page are hidden. They get displayed again when mouse leaves the box.

I was about to toss out this picture but the daisies just kept my eye. They looked lonely against the blank background. But the background was so blank and nothing that it was so uninteresting that it took away from the daisies. The only thing to do was to make the background help the little flowers pop a little.... with a hope, it worked.

Me and Andy got bored, so we decided to post this as Andrew's background while he is in SLC for the night.
Joseph & Co. inc. is a background building built from left over parts and bits and pieces from my parts and scrap box. The sign is simply printed from the internet on paper and glued to the building with a glue stick.
This view (probably) hasn't changed much in a hundred years or more.
A black and white shot of the graveyard at All Hallows Church in Woolbeding. The grand country mansion in the background is Woolbeding House... complete with smoking chimney.
Background
The Astra G was launched during '98 R-plate and the Focus '98 S-Plate, so only a few months between them.
Both were launched with quite some fanfare in the motoring media of the time. The Astra was reported as a considerable leap beyond the Mk3 it replaced in terms of its driving dynamics and the overall quality of its build and interior trim.
Ford had been burned previously with the lacklustre '90 Escort and were not going to make the same mistake again with the Focus. They went all out to develop a class leader this time around and I think it really shows here still today. The Focus looks and feels a lot more modern than the Astra in its design and construction, both inside and out.
