#imageoftheday
Suddenly we got warm air and hot sun in Bergen, finally!!! Me and my friend Olga decided to exercise yoga together on my terrace following one of the videos in the EKHART YOGA website. We choosed a video called "Backbend Joy" and we had such an amazing time trying out all the different positions and backbends! A lot of energy and sun for mind and body made us so happy :)) that we decided to try out some more advanced positions ;)
Backbends open the heart, stretch the front of the body and are energizing. You either love them, or they are hard for you, but there are ways to practice beckbends with softness, staying in touch with the breath. Then they become a delight for all.. They will definitely get the juices in the body flowing. Let me know how you get on and how you feel after this yoga class... x

Although it's hard to see, Saideh is doing a legitimate backbend over my dumbek. (Legitimate = arching over the drum, not lying upon it)
I'm still having a hard time entering backbends from any position other than from a headstand, but upside down, I can do anything. Once I was in backbend, I reached up to fix my pants and shirt before focusing on my feet to get them flat, and then I took hold of my ankles. Practice, and all is coming.
well, here goes nothing.
I have always wanted to do a 365 project, and I think now is the time to start.
I have been putting it off for way too long.
I'M EXCITED.
btw: I apologize for the partially bad edit. I tried to do an expansion, and it was my first time. I thought it looked decent anyways. :)

I hate not taking pictures. I hate not being proud of pictures. Today I felt like I needed to take pictures. Today I felt like I hate this picture. Winter gives me no inspiration. I have so many summer ideas. Help.
In the background, you see all the snow Nemo brought us. I haven't had school in 4 days.

Happy Bokeh Wednesday!
I must admit, I thoroughly enjoy this one.
My sister and two of her friends and I had a ghostly encounter last night..
..yeah.. We were all on the phone, 4-way, and all on cell phones. And we kept hearing a man's voice whispering and growling and there were screaming noises. We have a lot of it recorded.
really scary.. You'd have to hear it to believe it.
I got the texture here: www.flickr.com/photos/27805557@N08/
I was originally going to try and take a picture whilst doing a backbend/bridge.. whatever.
Not such a good idea when you haven't done it in a long time and you're VERY out of shape.
I couldn't push myself up and I think I pulled a muscle in my shoulder.. I am really going to try to get in shape before summer.
I made a formspring! so go leave me anonymous comments :}

Fatigue has become a part of most people's lives. Thanks to the busy life style we have, it is always around the corner ready to strike us down. But there are some simple yoga poses to stop fatigue.

Dhanurasana
Bend back into the shape of a bow to feel energetically locked, loaded, and ready to take aim.
Camel Pose
Ustrasana
Bump up your energy by bending back into Camel Pose.

This girl was part of the Tumen Ekh Song & Dance Ensemble at the State Youth & Children's Theatre in Ulaanbaatar. Watching a contortionist perform is mind boggling. Their flexibility is something that you have to see to believe. She made it looks so easy.

today i did two important things: i test drove a couple cars and i got a bottle of "touchable" bubbles. the bubbles, like the cars, are not supposed to pop upon contact. the bubbles are kind of a bust for now (har har!), but i'm trying to get the hang of them.
also did a lot of running, jumping, climbing trees today, as well. but it didn't result in anything i wanted to use for a shot. at this point in the 365 game i'm finding it easier to bounce back and try a different idea right away if the first one doesn't work out. it's nice. and it keeps me testing my own limits.
in other news, i cleaned the apartment yesterday. and by "cleaned the apartment" i mean "baked raspberry scones". see how that works? i love logic.
if you hit L and whip your head back it looks like i'm falling for real. no, wait, if I whip MY head back i really do fall for real. sorry, my mistake!

Modéstia à parte, adorei essa foto!
