Hummingbirds are very territorial. I felt like this Anna's Hummer was saying, "back off, this is my bounty"

From a year ago at Quidi Vidi Lake. I particularly enjoyed photographing some of the many species of Gull that frequent Quidi Vidi Lake in winter. This is "Buddy' the Black-backed Gull that has overwintered at Quidi Vidi for the past several years. He has endeared himself to many local birders.

Years before the Southern Sydney Freight Line and even the MIST siding connection were constructed, Countrylink's trial of the Swedish X2000 Tilt train drifts into Minto on one of its early return runs from Canberra in February 1995.

Back again to dancing.
I was over in Bishops Stortford doing lindyhop. Just the basic 6 count. Nice and easy, especially as I sort of know it.
I did end up helping to guide the newbies through it in the second half.
I also managed to have a call with friend. That's always nice to do when we get the chance.

WEEK 6 – Senatobia McDonald's
Back around to the rear of the store again, here's a look at, well, just that. For all descriptive intents and purposes, this McDonald's is T-shaped (with that Playplace as the leg of the 'T'), if that helps any of you envision the building layout.

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)

I´m back in Floripa, for summer holidays. It´s paradise! Here, a sunset in front of my house -- De volta à Ilha da Magia, para as férias de verão. Realmente, Floripa é o paraíso! Aqui, um por do sol em frente à minha casa, em Cachoeira do Bom Jesus...

Some of you noticed that my pictures were gone from FlickR for about a week. My account was suspended due to the "risque" content that I have shared over of the years. That kind of material is no longer allowed on free accounts. So after cleaning house and removing about two thirds of the things I have shared over the years I am now back in good standing.
That's the bad news. The good news is that I have a lot more available space to share new things with all of my friends and fans!
I bought this sweater from Venus a few years ago and I absolutely love it! Brown usually isn't a color that I would choose to wear, but this looks magnificent on me I think. I love the open shoulders and the big turtleneck is definitely an added bonus. Plus when I wear it with these jeans and boots it all just looks so wonderful together.
Thank you to everyone who reached out while I was away, I greatly appreciate that you took the time to check in and make sure I was OK.
The green anole (Anolis carolinensis) is the only anole native to the U.S. Anoles are sometimes called "chameleons." This is due to the color-changing ability of the green anoles - when a green anole turns brown, it is a sign of severe stress. Signs of breeding include males displaying their dewlaps and posturing to females. Males may start bobbing their heads rapidly while turning toward female.
The holidays are over and January means back to the office. Sigh...
With the first posting of the new year, here's Toni wishing everyone a great and happy Flickr year in 2012.
This is actually a mid-calf skirt suit but the above the knee skirt looks sooooo much sexier. So, I actually have the skirt way up around my breast. I'm so glad it is not noticeable. Thanks to my wife for the loaner on the lovely white blouse.
