somehow it feels like the front but I still prefer it to be the back. I'm not so sure why I added buttons that day during sewing. But it looks zakka style to me.
I did go for sunset shooting but did not make it since I went to the wrong spot. There was fog an hour before sunset time. Only can share the butterfly I took this afternoon. Just love the back lighting through its wings.

After a recent rebuild and repaint, LIRR 154 leads a train through New Rochelle in order to exchange M7s with Metro-North to go back to Arch Street Shops.

Re-rooted Live Work Play Giselle with a hand blend of blonde and pale red.
She was done by Valmaxi...after I told her I wanted a subtle red-gold blend. And, again, she nailed it.

This is a drawing I did a few years ago, based a photo of a weightlifter - was never too happy with the way it turned out originally. I've been experimenting with the way I render color and light a bit recently., so I thought I might dig it out and play around with it. It's a bit more detailed and fussy than my drawings usually are -- not sure if that's a direction I want to go in, or if I should be pushing towards simplicity. But that's what sketching and drawing is great for. Always good to experiment with processes. Who knows, I might even start working with ink and paper again one of these days.
