Re-rooted Live Work Play Giselle with a hand blend of blonde and pale red.
She was done by Valmaxi...after I told her I wanted a subtle red-gold blend. And, again, she nailed it.
Continuing on the theme of drawing the night, I look down from my 2nd floor to my next door neighbor's back door and detached garage. Being the night before the new moon, it was very, very dark. The limbs of the backyard trees are silhouettes against a house on the other side of the block. This was my first attempt at using my new Neocolor II water-soluble wax pastels. My Kid's Christmas Sweater, which I started last Saturday. I LOVE WORSTED WEIGHT COLORWORK. The pattern is Kambur (rav link) All of this medical downtime has made me a more productive knitter than I've been in years!
I cardiganized this sweater, and the math almost made my brain explode. I have this thing about charted knitting being balanced on either side of the button bands.
So I finished the body last night, and today I'll do the button bands, sew down the collar, weave in the ends, sew on some buttons and block out the bands. Easy. Done.

I am one for over complicating things. I last use this camera in 2018 on holiday. It under exposed photographs, some were useable and others were muddy.
I over thought the issue and wonderes if the elctronics needed work and the mechanicals needed lubrication. I put this camera aside for repair at some point. I got it out yesterday to check it and the battery was flat. And there was the clue to the under exposure. A new battery and all is sorted.
Back in action! I am now a blonde, & this UPDO was done with some 24" Real Hair Extensions & my own Hair, which is now just past my shoulders.
A couple more shots of this beauty! View from my back deck. You never know what's going to show up. As it happened, I had my camera with me hoping to catch some hummingbirds coming by to visit my little water fountain. These little Chickadees are so pretty!
I think it's a squirrel, but it may have been the world's largest mouse, considering the way my cat was clawing at the glass in the patio door wanting to get at it. Or maybe she was just covering for the dogs, who were sacked out on the couch.

Rant aside, we’re at the back of the store now, taking a look at the magazine racks. Another complaint is that this store got rid of the comfy chairs the old store had in favor of just a couple of hard, backless benches like the one seen in this image, but that’s not my personal complaint – just one I’ve seen and heard mentioned a lot! I rarely sit down inside myself, but for those who do, I can certainly understand their disappointment…
