This candid shot was taken nearby my Grandma's house in Nakhon Si Thammarat, south of Thailand. Many Years back when I was living in Bangkok, once or twice a year we were visiting her and one thing was always certain, I would go swimmimg and playing in this stream! This image takes me back to that time, when everything was still innocent and a turbulent life was still ahead of me.

This is the back of some old brick buildings (note the arched bricks above the window jam) that have been gussied up a bit of late. This is near the 4th Street Bridge in DTLA
A couple on their way to the 1940's weekend in Haworth at Keighley Train Station.
A snapshot of a time long forgotten
Not the best of photos but I was amazed how quicky nature has restablished herself onto these old ruins with the wattle trees growing in the cracks of the old bricks.

I managed to complete armoring the legs with silver Technic panels, and put a lot of Bionicle armor plates into the tail with lots of clip and bar elements as greebling.
I also solved adding wings.
I'm down to very small details and waiting on Bricklink parts.

Optare Excel S693YOL has returned to Shenstone Drive for the first time in many years, complete with a fresh new MoT.
Here it is on the forecourt, alongside Leyland PD2 2222, which has been getting a freshen-up in the cab and interior, not touched when the main restoration was done.
Cool stuff returns!
The fate of the golden gun!
All this and more....coming soon...
We've just gotten things back underway since getting smeared by the hurricane. Slowly but surely we're back in action.

The holidays have gone so quickly. And my girl has a tough year ahead of her with lots of exams, but I truly hope everything will go well. Fingers crossed!
the gristone outcrop of Back Tor is an impressive jumble of rocks situated at the northen end of the derwent edges where they run into the howden moors. It's typical dark peak country: boggy moorland, pools, rocks, and a great feeling of wilderness...

I'm super excited that today is the day Hockey is back. Go figure that it would be on the 19th...that was my hockey number. Anyway the Kings are losing but I got to finally watch them raise the championship banner. I'm so glad hockey is back
Some information on this house from The Burrage House Study Report:
"As the only fully executed chateau in Boston [modelled after Chenonceaux, in the Loire Valley of France], the interior of the Burrage House
has achieved major significance for its design, workmanship, and materials. It is a
largely intact example of a turn-of-the century decorative design that has few, if
any, rivals in Boston. Utilizing themes and motifs from the French and Italian
Renaissance, the interior scheme used lavish materials on the first and second
floors, including wood paneling, elaborate stone and wood carvings, intricate
stained glass windows, mosaic tiles and bronze. Although the interior has been
renovated several times since the Burrages last occupied the house in 1947, much
of the design, workmanship and materials are still intact."
"The Burrage House was built in 1899 as the winter home for attorney,
businessman, and philanthropist Albert C. Burrage and his family. It remained in
the Burrage Family until the death of Burrage’s widow Alice in 1947. At that
time, the house was sold and converted into doctor’s offices. The building
underwent a subsequent renovation in 1959 to house the Boston Evening Clinic,
which relocated from nearby 396 Commonwealth Avenue. In 1990, the building
was purchased by Boston Back Bay Board & Care Limited Partnership and, using
historic preservation tax credits, was renovated for use as a nursing home and
elder care facility." [The house is now the site of several condos.]
