the area round the pond is coming on nicely
the large plant at the back left is euonyumus fortunie emerald and gold the purple flowered plant back middle is Lunaria annua, also called honesty or annual honesty in the middle are Marguerite daisy's with violas round the pond in the middle behind the pond with the purple flowers is Aguga now hidden they is also two clumps of chives front and back of the pond in front of the ponds is Helianthemum golden Queen also known as a Rock rose

Loved this sign which saw on a shop door in Glastonbury on Sunday. The name of the shop? The Cat and Cauldron:-)
On 4 April 2017, 90042+90044 failed in the Carlisle area , while they were powering 4M27, Freightliner’s 0525 Coatbridge – Daventry. Eventually DRS’s 66421 was found to get the freightliner on its way and the trio are seen descending Shap Bank some 160 minutes late.
I sell Urubbu cards at manos and the other day I received some samples in this gorgeous envelope, here's another one they've sent me.
Another from my archives, this one goes way back to sometime in the early 1980s, one of my earliest photos using medium format film. Location is Boston's Back Bay, probably Marlborough Street or the general vicinity. Difficult lighting, to say the least. I remember long ago trying to print this in the darkroom with mixed results at best. Today scanned into digital format I'm able to salvage it with somewhat better results.
Camera: My old/former Century Graphic (not sure of lens).
Film: 2.25 x 3.25 sheet film! I believe it is Kodak Plus-X Pan, if I am deciphering the film's notch code correctly.
I would have likely developed the film with Kodak D-76.
Negative scanned with Canon 8800F using VueScan software.
Image edited with PSE and NIK Silver Efex Pro.

Here is a shot I took from my yard. This is the day after the storm. The sun is out and the sky is turning blue. As you can see, we live in the woods on the side of a mountain. That is New Hope Baptist Church in the valley.
I was coming down the driveway and Vinny was sitting with his back to me, watching his brother in the woodpile.
When Ozzie saw me he headed up the driveway towards me, and as he was walking up past Vinny, I saw Vinny starting to tense and raise a paw, like he was ready to "start" something.
Ozzie wasn't in the mood. Here he is telling Vinny in no uncertain terms not to mess with him!
My vacation in Italy has come to an end....

Back home from work and a little time to relax and have a coffee before getting ready to hit the town tonight 💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Today I saw some juvenile Barn swallows sitting on one of the fence lines at the barn so I decided to venture over and see if I could get any shots of the little fellas'. To my sheer amazement and delight, they allowed me to get within an arms length of them. I watched as other juvenile Swallows tried to land on the wire only to be "yelled at" by the ones that were already there. It was a real treat in being able to get that close and get some shots.
Enough (photo of) China, now back to Australia.
And we were on the road again during Christmas & New year Holiday. Traveled for 3500km from Sydney to Adelaide, through Mungo National Park in Outback NSW, Murray River towns in Victoria, South Australia, and touched the shore line of the ocean in Victor Harbour, SA.
