Back at work!
Sometimes I think that a larger working table could be useful, but then I realize that it would take ages to free it from all the stuff accumulated upon it, to be able to use it...
In the picture, a 70 cm square of glassine, after 6 days of pre-creasing, and a cutting mat used as a dark background, to take advantage of this paper's transparency.

انا ولله ع الصوت صرت مدمن ..
لاتلومني لو كل دقيقه اتصل
وربي من تصكر القلب وروح يدمعون

Sometimes nature can be funny... and humans are just the same: they argue for nothing! :D
Have a great weekend!
Attrazione a... posteriori
Talvolta la natura può essere ironica... e gli esseri umani non sono da meno: voltano le spalle per un nonnulla :D
Buon weekend!
Today I saw some juvenile Barn swallows sitting on one of the fence lines at the barn so I decided to venture over and see if I could get any shots of the little fellas'. To my sheer amazement and delight, they allowed me to get within an arms length of them. I watched as other juvenile Swallows tried to land on the wire only to be "yelled at" by the ones that were already there. It was a real treat in being able to get that close and get some shots.
"Back to Back:" Two pelicans attempt to fish on opposite sides of each other, for obvious safety reasons.

I usually carry multiple backs of film so I can quickly replace a used roll of film with a fresh roll.
I also like to carry multiple backs so I can change films in the middle of a roll.
I could change from black & white to color but I primarily shoot only black & white with my Mamiya RB67. I like being able to change from one film speed to another.
I use the following eight film backs with my RB67:
back #1 Ilford HP5 Plus (ISO 400)
back #2 Ilford HP5 Plus (ISO 400)
back #3 defective (use only for parts)
back #4 FomaPan (ISO 100)
back #5 FomaPan (ISO 100)
back #6 Ilford Delta Pro (ISO 3200)
back #7 Ilford Delta Pro (ISO 3200)
back #8 Ilford HP5 Plus (ISO 400)
Here is a shot I took from my yard. This is the day after the storm. The sun is out and the sky is turning blue. As you can see, we live in the woods on the side of a mountain. That is New Hope Baptist Church in the valley.
A few images from my back catalogue, some relatively recent, others going back about twelve years. Some successful in competitions, others less so.

"The graveyard, the graveyard all full of light
The only age, the beating heart is empty of life
Dirt and grass, a shadow heart; the moon sails past
Blood as ice is an empty crisis, lonely it lies
Whoa-ah-ah-ah ah-ah. bring 'em all back to life
Whoa-ah-ah-ah ah-ah. bring 'em all back to life
Whoa-ah-ah-ah ah-ah. bring 'em all back to life
Whoa-ah-ah-ah ah-ah. bring 'em all back to life...."

Thought I'd post over the remaining days of 2009 some of the images i did not post yet that were taken in the past. This is the second one. I did not do any vignetting so the light on the water is from the memorial lights reflecting strongly off the clouds.
