The last from me of this superb little bird. What a fantastic opportunity we have all had over the past few days to get up close and personal. A first for me and I'm sure many others.

Many years ago I made the switch from film to digital photography and have regretted selling my beloved Contax 139. I found another in beautiful condition and bought it. I’m still a digital guy with the Fuji gear I adore, but now I may throw in the occasional roll of BW film in the mix.
I rarely see the Chestnut-backed Chickadee, most of the time it is the Black-capped Chickadee. I have never seen more than one at a time. This one was hanging with it's cousin.
Sega 007 James Bond GoldenEye Pinball Machine
Goldeneye was Sega's first pinball effort in 1996. The theme is licensed from the James Bond movie Goldeneye, the first which features Pierce Brosnan as 007.
The major toy in this game is a rotating Satellite with a magnet in its center capable of catching and holding a pinball. The player can load the Satellite via a Pop-Up Ramp which rises up from the playfield. The machine also has a Ball Saver, which consists of a magnet system which catches and flings the ball away from the outhole and back into play.
Black-backed woodpeckers forage in dead trees (especially recently burned trees up to eight years postfire) looking for wood-boring beetle larvae. The yellow crown patch indicates this is a male. The white underneath is smudged gray from the soot.

Operated by SLC Operations, the train is 5Z53 1124 Long Marston - Burton upon Trent Wetmore Sidings. Yes, that would be my car. I went to camp this afternoon with Julia to pick up Brandon. I saw him in the playground a few feet away from where I parked. I ran over to talk to him and just as I met up with him, we heard what sounded like fireworks. As we turned around to see, we watched as a huge pine tree fell and crushed my car. LOTS of damage, yet somehow drivable. I haven't stopped laughing since it happened. It's keeping me from crying. :)
