Canadian Pacific's Oshawa Turn reverses through an S-curve in the GM Spur while shoving a few dozen empty autoracks. This location causes an interesting perspective where the train almost seems to double back on itself. I get one last look at the tired and worn SD40-2 in the lead before it disappears around the corner. As quick as it arrived, this unit would be sent out west a short time later.
Norfolk Southern's Northumberland to Enola turn was crossing the Rockville Bridge over the Susquehanna on the way home.
A pair of former Conrail SD40-2s had the H53 local well in hand amid the clouds.
Be back :))

The better your summer has been the more difficult and heavier your bag feels. And this year has been specially hard for me to say bye, it has been an amazing summer, my best one so far. This year is not just another "back to school", I started I new chapter of my life as a university student here, in the UK.
I have also made a video about the photo: youtu.be/hEIhJY8jyHQ

I went to Cypressmede Park to look for signs of spring wildflowers. There were the glimmerings of little shoots here and there. This little Red-backed Salamander was a pleasant find on a warm early spring day.
The classic BLE tunnel motors are seen doing the helper honors up Byron hill on the CN. Manned helpers and cool power on a class 1 is a great combination
Thought this was a good one to come back with. Still have a quite a bit of summer left, and quite a few shots too.
