Polymers, those molecular chains that Staudinger hypothesised almost a century ago have entered almost every aspect of our lives, from clothes, and cups to 3D prints and packaging. But, do we know our plastics? Prof.dr. S.J. Picken of polymer materials at TU Delft put us to test today!

Cibervoluntarios Foundation never stops. As coordinators of the European Project SOCRATIC, we attended 18th May in Berlin an important event organised by the European Commission, the “CAPS Community Meeting and Workshop”, in which we participated ina roundtable with other projects to share opinions, ideas and work.

In Cibervoluntarios Foundation we share with the European Commission and the rest of participants our concern about socially innovative applications of network technologies, building collective intelligence and collective action. That is why we are participating in CAPS (Collective Awareness Platforms for Sustainability and Social Innovation) with the SOCRATIC Platform.

The chosen date is just before the European Citizen Science conference www.ecsa2016.eu/ , which includes a panel on the importance of citizen engagement and collective intelligence seen from the bottom-up CAPS perspective of ‘awareness, data, actionable change and innovation’.
