I don't really know why i did these pictures but for some reason it came to me...my mother had breast cancer while i was younger...she's a survivor now and even though she's well past getting it again....i still support and do all I can to help...cause i know what it's like to have a loved one almost taken from you...and no one deserves that...
To put it simply, I love nature. This group of images was done to bring awareness to the footprints that humans leave behind in nature...

View down from the higher tiers. Even from the higher level, you notice the ceiling is still very lofty on these ships. Taken before I was aware how 'blur' can ruin a good photograph.

The Sandra Dunne Forget Me Not 5K fun run 2013 was held in Stapelstown Village, Donadea, Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland at 15:00 on May 19th 2013. The race was an event organised to honor the memory of local lady Sandra Dunne and to raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis in order to raise much needed funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Unit at St Vincent's University Hospital. Sandra's journey in this life was made so much more difficult and ended so much shorter than she deserved with her diagnosis with Cystic Fibrosis. The esteem in which she was held was more than evident today with the superb community spirit and large turn out at this event - with the local community providing volunteers for tasks from time keeping to parking to stewarding to refreshments. The warmth, generosity, and community atmosphere at the race today stands as a fitting tribute to her memory. Congratulations must also to Mick Kane, Rosarii Byrne, and many others for making this race an outstanding success.

Overall Race Summary
Participants: There were over 300 adult participants who ran, jogged, and walked the 5KM course. There were about another 100 children who took part in the event.
Weather: A beautiful summer's afternoon with warm sunshine, little breeze, and clear skies.
Course: A lovely rural route where the 1st KM and the final KM are effectively shared and the remainder of the course is a left-handed loop on rural roads near Donadea Forest.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. होली पर्व के पीछे तमाम धार्मिक मान्यताएं, परम्पराएं और ऐतिहासिक घटनाएं छुपी हुई हैं पर अंतत: इस पर्व का मुख्य उद्देश्य मानव–कल्याण ही है। लोकसंगीत, नृत्य, नाट्य, लोककथाओं, क़िस्से–कहानियों और यहाँ तक कि मुहावरों में भी होली के पीछे छिपे संस्कारों, मान्यताओं व दिलचस्प पहलुओं की झलक मिलती है। होली को आपसी प्रेम एवं एकता का प्रतीक माना जाता है। होली हमें सभी मतभेदों को भुलाकर एक–दूसरे को गले लगाने की प्रेरणा प्रदान करती है। इसके साथ ही रंगो का त्यौहार होने के कारण भी होली हमें प्रसन्न रहने की प्रेरणा देती है इसलिए इस पवित्र पर्व के अवसर पर हमें ईर्ष्या, द्वेष, कलह आदि बुराइयों को दूर भगाना चाहिए। वास्तव में हमारे द्वारा होली का त्यौहार मनाना तभी सार्थक होगा जब हम इसके वास्तविक महत्व को समझकर उसके अनुसार आचरण करें। इसलिए वर्तमान परिवेश में जरूरत है कि इस पवित्र त्यौहार पर आडम्बर की बजाय इसके पीछे छुपे हुए संस्कारों और जीवन मूल्यों को अहमियत दी जाए तभी व्यक्ति, परिवार, समाज और राष्ट्र सभी का कल्याण होगा।
