These seagulls were out for blood....like a scene from the birds. Anyway, this is from the Oregon coast at Cannon Beach. A great and favorite spot, in the background is Haystack Rock. Always a great time there, especially in the winter months!

Inspired by the new movie Alien: Covenant I built this small display to show my latest Kitbashes – and of course my first Neomorph-design. I loved the little white devils in this cornfield attack and would assess them even more scary than the oroginal Xenomorph because of their speed and nimbleness.
strobist: shot the board only first, then myself jumping with a matress on the ground and then composed in photoshop. same lighting setup for both shots:
sb-26 + 430ex on 1/2 power into silver umbrella camera left and high, sb-25 on 1/16 power camera right and high to light myself. radio triggers. I need faster sync speed :-(

Nothing seemed to ruffled the Great Gray Owls feathers until this unhappy Gray Jay started attacking him. The jay ended up winning and the owl moved on.
1:15 A.M. I decided to document a real chocopie attack. You will note the lack of a glass. No one in their right mind goes to the trouble of pouring milk into a glass at one in the morning! You might note the size of the bite. This was not done politely but half-asleep and with a burning hunger for chocolate.
Chocopies are universally loved throughout the Korean Peninsula and beyond. It would not be going too far to say that these are greatly valued in North Korea (who gets them illegally) and in Russia. They are actually traded for things in North Korea. The Russian port of Vladivostok is awash in Chocopies as they are a favorite with Russian sailors.

This had to be over fish but I never saw any. I have never seen anything like this but the Snowy Egrets attacked this poor cormorant more then once. There are only two egrets in this shot however there were about 7 of them to the one Cormorant.

Heureusement, je ne suis pas à Paris, mais je suis sincèrement désolé pour les gens qui ont été tués et leurs familles ... et c'est mon pays, je vis en France, et tout le pays est en état d'alerte ... Nous attendons dans la peur pour ce qui va se passer ensuite .. nous espérons que tout va bien se passer ... et je tiens à dire merci aux gens qui pensent et qui s'inquiètent pour nous ^^
I was playing around with the perspective on my new wide angle lens. I had simply wanted to take of photo of this dogs toy when all of a sudden, as I am snapping the picture, our dog Kaiser pounces on it. He looks pretty viscious here, but he is 14.5 years old, is missing more teeth than he has in his head and also suffers from arthritis and he is as much an attack dog as I am a surf lifesaver with a six pack stomach and full head of hair!!! I swear that Kaiser was a human in a previous life! He just knows things and gives u a look.................
This poor bee was being attacked by a wasp, which was trying hard to sting her, while she did her best to escape.
Well, couldn't have that eh? So I stepped in, flicked the wasp (no, I didn't damage it!) and after 30 seconds or so, the bee rallied and fell off the bench into greenery below … what a clever bee eh?
