The Desert Lion king looks to expand his kingdom by assaulting the border 'Dragon' castle of the Chin.
The castle is a centre of trade for the region and the road to the gate doubles as a dry moat in times of siege.
The Desert Lions dig a trench to get them closer to the walls without exposing themselves to the deadly Chin crossbows. They pepper the defenders with ballista bolts while their heavy infantry attempt to gain access to the battlements via the ladders.
However, the Chin defenders are repelling any assaults and the king must reconsider his strategy.

Antagonistic Behavior of Noisy Miner
Noisy miner is one of the most aggressive of the honeyeaters. Much of the activity within a noisy miner colony is antagonistic with chasing, pecking, fighting, scolding, and mobbing occurring frequently throughout the day. The birds unite to attack predators and to defend the colony area against all other species of birds; however the species is also highly aggressive intraspecifically.
It seems when Harold helps with photos it always ends with me falling down and being attacked.
Not at all as intended, but why fight it?

Sir Lance A Lot uses the low-level attack mode as he searches for bait fish in the somewhat flooded mud flats area along Horsepen Bayou. The bayou is a tidal estuary and subject to tidal changes and the herons have to employ different techniques to catch their prey as the water levels change in the area with the tidal movements. Tri-colored Heron captured on Horsepen Bayou. He had little concern for my presence as well, but remaining motionless is the key to getting shots like this. One move and he's gone in a flash.

The interior of St. Mary's Basilica (Kościół Mariacki) is an explosion of architectural detail and color. The blue painted ceiling rivals Rome's Santa Maria Sopra Minerva and the stained glass is magnificent when the sun is out. Unique to this Polish basilica is the Hejnał Mariacki - a live trumpet signal played from the bell tower of the church every hour on the hour. The signal can be heard from blocks away, although it cuts off mid note towards the end of the tune to commemorate a 13th century trumpeter hit in the throat with an arrow as he warned of a Mongol attack on the city.

Blue jays are fast and so anticipating their next move is essential and occasionally we get the focus where we want it.

As you can clearly see the fungus has really made a meal of this one. look at an enlarged view and you will see the image covered by the tell tale thread like marks. The fungus has been cleaned off by wiping with a soft cloth moistened in isopropyl alcohol. The damage to the emulsion can be clearly seen. The damage is beyond dealing with in Photoshop!
Quite why this image is so much more effected than others on the same strip I know not!
