For LUGNuts' 21st challenge....a 21st century marvel! Behold the mighty Ariel Atom! This is one of the quickest cars in the world due to a lethal combination of intense speed, acceleration, and grip. The Atom is a great showcase of bare-minimum design, combined with the latest technology to make a potent competitor for any vehicle. That's why it was a perfect choice for this challenge.

24th January 2015. SOOC. Straight out of the camera, no post processing at all on any of these pictures. Pendle's Panopticon, 'Atom', rests on the hillside above Wycoller village in Wycoller Country Park. I broke my Sigma 10-20 tonight, knocked over the tripod in the dark and now the lens is fixed full out, seems to be focusing ok though but big time bummer. :-( as its less than a year old.
The legendary Ariel Atom. One of the baddest street legal cars in existance. This car is quite literally a race car for the streets.
A familiar, zigzag, W pattern in northern constellation Cassiopeia is traced by five bright stars in this colorful and broad mosaic. Stretching about 15 degrees across rich starfields, the celestial scene includes dark clouds, bright nebulae, and star clusters along the Milky Way. In yellow-orange hues Cassiopeia's alpha star Shedar is a standout though. The yellowish giant star is cooler than the Sun, over 40 times the solar diameter, and so luminous it shines brightly in Earth's night from 230 light-years away. A massive, rapidly rotating star at the center of the W, bright Gamma Cas is about 550 light-years distant. Bluish Gamma Cas is much hotter than the Sun. Its intense, invisible ultraviolet radiation ionizes hydrogen atoms in nearby interstellar clouds to produce visible red H-alpha emission as the atoms recombine with electrons. Of course, night skygazers in the Alpha Centauri star system would also see the recognizable outline traced by Cassiopeia's bright stars. But from their perspective a mere 4.3 light-years away they would see our Sun as a sixth bright star in Cassiopeia, extending the zigzag pattern just beyond the left edge of this frame. via NASA ift.tt/1VjfPz3

The dots are Platinum atoms. I think we are looking at a chrystal matrix.
Quantum Physics tell us that there is no « stuff » in the Universe; no matter; only energy pulsing at different rates.
This image serves- at least metaphorically- to help us see this idea.:
We see a ring pattern like ripples on a pond.
But the pattern would not show if the atoms were not found where the rings cross each other.
You could say that the rings make each other visible, or that the atoms make the intersecting ring pattern.
And you could say that the rings are not really there.
[ i have accidentally erased (twice.!) the rest of this text.
It is about how energy is ‘squishier’ than matter, which may make sense of how all of the stuff in the Big Bang could bang out of a tiny space. That it was not stuff that blew out of there; it was energy which ‘unsquished’ out of there.]
