Last year Stella Atom was added to Bucks in Tulsa. Buck is still on the other side of the property, but now he has his lady friend alongside of him. I didn't have time to capture him on my last trip here in the fall, but I made sure to capture her this time. She is made of fiberglass and as you can see, very colorful. Across the street you can see Meadow Gold Mack. Another new addition to Route 66 in Tulsa.
Pendle's Panopticon, 'Atom', rests on the hillside above Wycoller village in Wycoller Country Park. Constructed in ferro-cement with a surface coating of metal-based paint, it is both a striking contemporary viewing point and shelter from which to enjoy Pendle's glorious scenery, and an intriguing and beautiful object which can be viewed from afar. From inside, its circular viewing spaces frame spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. I decided to photograph what I saw inside 'Atom,' rather than the view of the countryside outside.
I don't know that taking a panned image of attraction is appropriate. After all, panning can often induce an impression of speed. Either way here's one of 1923 Garrett built showman engine "The Mighty Atom".
As all the pictures in my gallery, this is a FREE picture. You can download it and do whatever you want with it: share it, adapt it and/or combine it with other material and distribute the resulting works.
I’d very much appreciate if you give photo credits to “Carlos ZGZ” when you use this picture. This would help me find it and add it to my photoset “Used elsewhere”.

I've updated the Atom, because I felt that something was missing. Then I realized a helmet would look nice on him. So, I put on a helmet and eyes. I like it, and this will be the new Atom appearing in stories.
Commnetz r appreciate?
Soundtrack: Pink Floyd - "atom heart mother suite"
currently reading through "Inside Out", Nick Masons very personal view on almost 40 years of Pink Floyd's band history, I'm currently feeling quite inspired especially by their older works, and it's incredible seeing (or better, hearing) what they already were capable of doing in the late 1960s... strange music, yet amazing.
and where is the poetry?
didn't she promise us poetry?
and where are the stars?
didn't she promise us stars?

Real Name: Ryan Choi
Occupation: Hero
Gender: Male
Height: 5'8
Weight: 160lbs (72kg)
Doctor Ryan Choi emigrated to the United States following the death of his mother, to take up Ray Palmer's former position at Ivy University. Ryan had a deeper motivation for doing this, however; he had been in touch with Ray since he was a boy, and knew Ray had left him the legacy of the size-changing belt which Ray had originally used to become the Atom. Having found the belt, Ryan intended to explore the microscopic world, and utilize the belt's capabilities to benefit modern society—only to find a multitude of secrets awaiting The All-New Atom beneath the surface of Ivy Town.
I'd love to hear what you think.
