Sun Exposure: Full sun to keep it blooming.

Little water, rot prone.

In the wild it is almost extinct, mostly due to habitat destruction.

A.asterias is the smallest species of the genus Astrophytum.

The white flecking is very variable from clone to clone.

A supposed "V-type" Astrophytum sown in 12015!

It's gotten q little bigger since the last time I took a picture of it - it's starting to show some mature areoles in the middle! (These don't always breed true, so, might need to get more seeds...)
