My Bus! Everyone knows me for driving this bright thing lol!

I wanted to use the rule of thirds in this shot because I think it makes the expression even more intense. By having my mother's face placed towards the side it draws your eyes across the picture and makes you wonder what was outside of the frame that she was looking at and why it made her have such an intense expression.

i love this shot...can't quite tell you why, maybe the textures. This is at f2.8. With nothing behind the tree for a ways, the background is pretty blown out, but the cicada shell (GROSS!!!) is sharp. I will add that I like the placement of the cicada shell against the darker blur of the street better in the other posted shot...here it's half in, half out.

Assignment 2 was shooting something white.
