My beautiful nephew is four years old. I wanted to capture the nature of an innocent boy of his age. His sweet expression and playful attitude make him, not only adorable, but a perfect example of the perfect child.

I like how the whiteness contrasts with the dark brick wall and how the frame is not centered. I would have liked to get more contrast on the bars though.

I took this photo at the pond next to Mellon. I held a leaf above the water and got this surprisingly clear reflection. I like that you can see the sunlight through the holes in the leaves and see the trees up above. It's almost like an optical illusion- at first glance, it just looks like a photo of a leaf.
