Journal spread prompted by assignment #2 over at Wreck This Journal -- I drew on the left-hand page with a white crayon, then blotted a tea-bag on the page a few times to give the page some color. Then, I drew/collaged on top of it. There's a secret picture drawn in crayon under there....can you see it?

Assignment-4 : Experiences in the Hamlet

Bewajah hi jo humse rooth kar gayi thi,

Phir laut aayi hai zindagi,

Na jaane aaj, kitne arse ke baad

Humein raas aayi hai zindagi!

Kal tak samajhte the qaid hum jise,

Aaj woh rihaai hai zindagi.

Hazaaron hi sooraj ki roshni jo milke

Mitaa na saki woh andhera

Halke se umeed ne chhu liya

Aur jagmagaayi hai zindagi

Active Assignment Weekly: Mar 15 - Mar 21: Get Low

But this week's assignment is to get down on the ground (or at least put your camera on the ground) and take a picture. I want a super low perspective.

Dare: Take it outdoors (hopefully the weather permits)

Restriction: Keep the camera 2 feet or less from the ground

So, the reason this is titled meaningless is I have no explanation why an empty martini glass would be sitting on some bricks in the dark other than because I was looking at all the amazing submissions this week and the great lighting on some of them, and I felt inspired to try one myself.

WIT: I got out my halogen lamp again, waited til the wife put my son to sleep so I could turn out all the lights except the halogen and then I snapped away. I couldn't really find any interesting subjects and this was the best I came up with. Thank you for looking!

Woefully behind now so making a last-ditch attempt to catch up. I'm very behind with commenting on people's photos too so please do not feel obliged to comment on mine.

Looking for a red and green image for my colour assignment, I found this 'number six' sculpture in Lime Street London, being part of Robert Indiana's series 'One through Zero'. This ended up as a practice shot and was discarded in favour of one of the same sculpture that I preferred.

Assignment 1a - Focussing

March.3.

I've never really experimented with capturing motion in any way but freezing it. We got the assignment to capture a pan motion shot and I was very nervous. I knew that this would be the most difficult assignment of the week, but at the last minute, I thought of a great picture and just got it done. I'm happy. It's not perfect. but it'll do.

Assignment 4 color: I took a LOT of fun colorful pics this week that madde it hard to decide:)) But I loved this contrast.

ADG from CCCP performs a skateboarding trick named Boneless. After three successful executions and three exposures later, the first CCCP homework assignment was complete.
