I had to dash out for an old-fashion reason this afternoon - to post a letter. Most unusual for me these days!
I could not resist this particular small scene on the way back.
After searching through a skip to find a pole to skate at my local skate park we came across this curved mirror that we affectionately christened the ‘ghetto fish eye’. I thought it would be interesting to take a photo of someone skating reflected in the curved mirror. I did take another photo with the mirror cleaned, however I felt that it looked a lot better covered in dust as it added to the effect and an insight into the backstory of the photo.
I forgot about this shot . its -45 out and was very late or early depending on how you look at things. Large oil platform in transport . The base is all electric drive
Architect Jan Inge Hovig succeeded in creating a masterpiece. The cathedral is a landmark visible from the Tromsø Sound, the Tromsø Bridge and when landing in Tromsø by aircraft. The 11 aluminium-coated concrete panels on each side of the roof provide the cathedral’s form.
At some point before you pay someone to decorate your delivery truck, don't you check a dictionary to see how "Arctic" is spelled?
Finally! Some film shots. Badly scanned by Max Spielman. I'll be re-doing the scanning when I get the chance. I've not done any editing at all in Photoshop bar a little rotating and cropping as I quite like the slightly off kilter colours :0)
All taken with a Pentax ME Super and either a 28mm f/2.8 or a 135mm f/3.5. Mostly with the 28mm. I'm starting to really like what this lens does to the images.

Arty did this all by himself...due to his environmental allergies he has been very itchy lately placing himself close to objects seems to relieve his discomfort...Poor Baby!
