The Associated Press did an article regarding the pending ban on chicken ownership in Chicago and included photos of our hens Papoo and Chalmers.
These photos are from the "Women Helping Women" speaker series. The series allows speakers—male and female—to lecture on a variety of topics to a mixed audience comprising civic activists, MPs, and members of political parties.
This photo is from the most recent event, entitled “Women in Islam,” where Senator Ms. Nawal al Faouri lectured on the concept of gender in an Islamic context. The series has generated significant attention from Jordanian media and political players, and the “Women in Islam” event was covered by the national news provider Al Rai.
The magazine of E-P1 was published. My husband wrote some articles in this. This camera is very good-looking and is very popular. This magazine is at present reprinting too.

Polish designer and teacher Ewa Satalecka interviewed José and Veronika for the design magazine 2+3D. The six-page article covers questions about long-distance collaboration and the way of designing type faces together. It also shows some very nice examples of various available TT typefaces. Erratum, unfortunately the publisher did not properly mark the poster showing Edita, as being designed by Pilar Cano, and apologises for the mistake.
The Mannequin Man
Who is the man spreading terror in the City of Lights?
The case raises two questions: are the victims dead? Who is the man behind this?

It was a semi-impromptu trip from August 28th to September 2nd, 2018…
In order to maximize experience for this trip, I planned a little of everything to cover the best of both/all worlds:
Luxury hotel – motorhome – camping
Fine dine steakhouse – simple camp cooking
City centre – wilderness
I wrote an article last week that was published this morning in Media Post's Marketing Daily e-newsletter. It's about how toys have changed over the years and today's toys often have a digital component. Some toys even teach kids about being "green."
If you're bored, read it here.
i break it down into ten days for ya...check it out over at craft. this altar is for my mamos and my granny.
My remembrance photography has caught the attention of the British people, as this newspaper asked me to do an interview to publish an article on this type of photography. It's not such a bad thing to be Dutch after all ;-)

Clovelly Farms
Cut Off, Louisiana
Lafourche Parish
Clovelly Farms near Cut Off is a particularly egregious example of erosion, Dokka said. The sugar-cane field near Larose has sunk 8 to 10 feet below sea level because, like most of south Lafourche, it’s leveed in and under pump.

The Courier Mail (Brisbane) article, 1942-10-22, about the taking over of Whytecliffe by the military during World War II. "New WAAF Barrack will be real home." Whytecliffe and its surrounds became the barracks for the new WAAAF recruits. My mother joined the WAAAF on 17 September 1942 and, after her induction training in Sydney and Point Cook, she lived here for at least 7 months.

Article Title: Revision of Icacinaceae from the Early Eocene London Clay flora based on X-ray micro-CT
Author: Gregory W. Stull, Neil F. Adams, Steven R. Manchester, Dan Sykes, Margaret E. Collinson
Citation: Botany, 2016, 94(9): 713-745, doi.org/10.1139/cjb-2016-0063

Caption: Fig. 4. Iodes multireticulata Reid et Chandler from the London Clay Formation. (A–G and I–K) Holotype (V22589): (A) endocarp in lateral view, by reflected light (from pl. 15, fig. 1 in Reid & Chandler (1933), used with permission) with numerous (30–50) concave depressions across the lateral faces; (B–G) digital renderings of the micro-CT scan data; (B) isosurface in lateral view showing outer pyritic encrustation formed since image in A was taken; (C) translucent volume rendering of the endocarp, with locule cast isosurface rendering within, lateral view; (D) lateral view of locule cast showing depressions corresponding to those on the endocarp surface seen in A; (E) basal view of B; (F) apical view of locule cast, superimposed on a micro-CT transverse section through the endocarp; (G) ventral view of locule cast. (H, L, and M) Digital isosurface renderings of V22595, a seed/internal cast of seed with adherent endocarp: (H) lateral view; (L) basal view with outer pyritic encrustation; (M) apical view of locule cast. (I–K) Micro-CT transverse sections through the holotype: (I) median; (J) in upper third; (K) in upper quarter. None of the transverse sections (I–K) or isosurface renderings (B–H, L, and M) shows the position of the primary vascular bundle, perhaps due to abrasion or degradation from pyrite decay. As shown in (F) and (I–K), endocarp wall thickness is missing in key areas where the vascular bundle may once have been positioned, so this character cannot be assessed in the current state of preservation. (N–Q) A locule cast with adherant remains of endocarp (V22591): (N and O) isosurface rendering of a locule cast with possible apical remains of the vascular bundle, lateral and ventral views, respectively; (P) sagittal section showing remains of endocarp surrounding the locule cast; (Q) transverse section. Scale bar in A = 5 mm (applies to A–G); scale bar in H = 5 mm (applies also to L and M); scale bar in I = 5 mm (applies also to J and K); scale bar in N = 5 mm (applies also to O); scale bar in Q = 5 mm (applies also to P). www.nrcresearchpress.com/journal/cjb
