Schwabisch Hall is an old medieval town in Baden Wurtemberg, Germany. It is thought to have been established around 1063 and has been called a town since 1204.

we don't have many high-rise buildings in Cologne. In 2004, Unesco threatened to revoke the cathedral's status as a World Heritage Site because, in their opinion, the skyscrapers had impaired the cathedral's appearance.

library. Foreign tourists often ask if this is an opera house.
It´s very beautiful and evenings there are gorgeous reflections in the river. The architect is Danish. The Danes often have more modern archtecture than the Swedes.
Main Street Cellar Wine Bar in Manotick, a suburb of Ottawa on the Rideau River. The arcitecture here is fabulous, just like the wine lol! Best viewed large =)

Petra is a most talented artist deep in her heart and soul . Her inner beauty comes out in all forms of visual art, from painting to photography. Her eternally searching eye captures beauty in all subjects , from landscapes to portraits, from archtecture to flowers. She has a special place in my heart as a friend, because she believed in my images even when I didn't and, encouraged me to go on and improve and, these words coming from a most gifted artist as her gave me a magical strenght. I drive by this old gas station/repair shop often but never thought to take a photograph of it. It looks lifeless and no one pays any attention to it anymore. Yet the other day it struck me as having a Rt. 66 kind of vibe even though it is far from the famous old roadway. Anyway, eventually it is going to be torn down and I just wanted a record of it. I imagine when it was in operation, it probably sustained a whole family.
Sometimes I feel like departing from my usual nature and landscape theme.

The construction of the mosque from 1975 to 1979 was financed by the Saudi Arabian King Faisal ibn Abd al-Aziz. The Dumas Drug Store located on Franklin St., was the anchor of the black business community in Natchez for several decades. Dr. A.W. Dumas, Sr., a well respected and admired Natchez physician, and his son, Dr. Albert W. Dumas, Jr., located their medical offices above the drug store. Another son, Michael Dumas, operated the drug store for 44 years. I'm not sure when the drug store opened or closed. It's possible that it opened in the mid 1930s. Natchez, Mississippi. 7.7.2013.
