Once the materials are retrieved you can view them one box at a time in the reference room. You should use the long paper place markers to keep materials in order while you view them. If you accidentally misplace something, do not shove it back in the box and cover your tracks, just notify the desk worker and leave the materials as they are.

Although not everything in the archive is old and fragile looking, all the materials should be handled with care. Most items are one-of-a-kind.

An adventurer stumbles across a tree fort in a forest. He climbs the rope ladder and sees a telescope. He wonders where it could be pointing. Wonders if his lucky day has come when he discovers something that could change his life forever.

This picture was taken from my old play structure in my back yard. It gives me a feeling of both time and adventure. The wood hasn't been re-stained for a couple of years giving it a worn look and I took these pictures around mid-morning. I feel like I am a little girl, again, exploring an old tree house or a wooden fort every time I get near it.
