Back in 1976 I taught a group of blind students to SCUBA Dive. Because it was the first classes of blind students, I had the honor to have Jacques Cousteau along with actor Jack Lemon present the Certifications at the Seattle Aquarium. I had also taught classes for the deaf. All had to complete the course just like everyone else. We had a lot of fun and I learn a lot about their world as well.

LANCASTER, JOHN CECIL
Major
Date of Death: 08/05/1915
Age: 41
Royal Warwickshire Regiment 1st Bn.
Grave Reference: VIII. C. 5.
Oosttaverne Wood Cemetery.
Son of the late Robert and Euphemia Lancaster, late of ‘the Elms’, Allesley. Served in the South African Campaign
Robert Lancaster was born in Eccles, Lancashire on 21 April 1843. He was the son of John Lancaster an engineer, businessman, fellow of the Geological Society and MP for Wigan between 1868-74. He eventually came to live at Bilton Grange, Dunchurch in the early 1870’s (now an independent day and boarding prep school). Robert was called to the Bar at Middle Temple on 10 June 1870. He married Euphemia Margaret Lindsay (born Scotland 1851) in 1873. They had five children - John Cecil (born Wolston 1875), Beatrice L. (born Wolston 1876), Euphemia M. (born Wolston 1877), James (born Wolston 1878) and Maud (born Allesley 1879).
Robert brought his family to Allesley in the late 1870’s where it is known that they lived at ‘The Elms’. The Lancaster household employed six live-in servants - a cook, parlour maid, housemaid, kitchen maid, nurse and under-nurse.
Robert died on 1 February 1882 aged 38 and is interred in a tomb in All Saints graveyard (with his wife and youngest daughter). The tombstone states he was a Captain in the 4th Bn. Royal Warwickshire Regiment.
His young widow and family continue to live in Allesley until at least 1891, with Euphemia being able to maintain the household on her own means. She employed four live-in servants - a nurse, parlour maid, housemaid and kitchen maid. By 1911 only two daughters, Beatrice and Euphemia are still living in Allesley (their mother and sister Maud were then living in Kent).
Robert's wife, Euphemia, is commemorated by the gift of the treble bell in All Saints from her daughters Euphemia and Beatrice in 1947 (their mother had presented the tenor bell in 1901).
Sadly, both their sons John Cecil and James were killed in The Great War. John Cecil was a Major in the 1st Bn. Royal Warwickshire Regiment, he was killed in action on 8 May 1915 and is buried in Oosttaverne Wood Cemetery in Belgium. James was a Captain in the 3rd Bn. Monmouthshire Regiment and also died on 8 May 1915. He is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. Both are also commemorated on the War Memorials in All Saints and the Village Hall.
1974- A Prep Language Department Cultural Festival, held in the Duffy Hall cafeteria, featured musical performances not normally found as part of a Prep student's repertoire. Peeking in at the left are Prep Librarian Art Klimowicz (who probably played the violin that afternoon) and art teacher Ed Havas.

this is what we know about Munar anomalies. We've imaged the Structure, but can't resolve it enough to identify. The remaining ??? at the equator where Munar Orbiter III passes close at Pe has eluded multiple attempts to image so far. It may be too small to resolve

Fujichrome Astia 100F 120 film
I've posted this before about 14 years ago. At that time it was scanned from the print and very small. Once again after scanning the negative I realised the print had lost so much detail. Fuji G 800 film was/is amazing.
