I've posted this before about 14 years ago. At that time it was scanned from the print and very small. Once again after scanning the negative I realised the print had lost so much detail. Fuji G 800 film was/is amazing.

Beryl at the International Cycling Week on the Isle of Man in 1961. She's wearing her world champion's rainbow jersery. This is probably the first time this photograph has been seen by the public as it came from a private collection. It was taken by Alf Grey, a noted motorcycling racing photographer, who was that year taking cycling photographs at the Isle of Man international cycling races. The major archive of Alf's other work now resides at the University of Sheffield.

This is a 5 exposure HDR taken hand held outside the National Archives. There is no photography allowed inside so these are the only two shots I took from this building in D.C.

Herbert worked as a graphic artist at the Shohar printhouse (from 1961 to the 80's) which was located in "Beit Herut" settlement, and created mainly silkscreen prints.
