What´s happening here...? ¿Qué sucede aquí ?

After repaving an asphalt parking lot, workers move the concrete car stops (or whatever they're called) back into place.

I'd driven past this big arrow for better than a year hoping someday to make a picture there. Shot from a distance, they didn't know I was there. Once the man pointed, the rest was gravy.

We did a lot of cruising for wild-art in Baton Rouge. 1986

Going through my old photos and seeing if I missed posting anything I liked...

The archive has reached another milestone, with in excess of 42 million views, so thanks to everyone for their continuing support.

GM5879 was an all-Leyland Titan PD2/10 L27/26R new as Central SMT L479 in July 1954, seen in Glasgow's Parliamentary Road. All Leyland Titans ordered new by Central SMT had lowbridge bodies, with long bench seats upstairs and a sunken offside gangway.

Service 70 ran from Glasgow via Bridgeton - Farme Cross - Rutherglen - Burnside - Cathkin - Nerston - East Mains - East Kilbride - Chapelton - Strathaven

Since visiting Cornwall, there has already been a fair amount of changes to their fleet, mainly their double deckers which has seen some additions and exits.

Other than the Alexander Dennis Enviro400MMCs that are branded for the U-Lines, the services were also operated by 3 Alexander Dennis Enviro400s (33420-33422), brand new to First Devon & Cornwall for use on the Atlantic Coast Express between Exeter and Bude, later being used on Plymouth Park & Ride services, even operating for a period with Stagecoach South West following First selling their Plymouth, Dartmouth and Tavistock bases in 2015.

By 2016, the 3 Alexander Dennis Enviro400s had moved south to First Kernow and by the end of the year, had been repainted into two-tone blue for use on U-Lines.

After 5 years operating in Cornwall, they are making the move from Kernow to First West of England, directly swapping with 3 07-reg Wright Eclipse Geminis (37182/37183/37185) that have come the opposite way.

It was definitely worth getting a shot of at least one Enviro400 before they moved, especially 33422 which has since arrived at First West of England.

However, in another twist of fate, it has since been reported that 33420-33422 will no longer be used with First West of England, instead will be making a move over to Buses of Somerset based from Taunton.

Alexander Dennis Enviro400 33422 (WA08 MVG) waits at Falmouth, Killigrew Street on U2 to Redruth Hospital.

Scouring my archives for images for camera club competitions. this will not be one :-)

Just messing with some new software. Decided to cancel Adobe since not using Photoshop or Lightroom much lately. We will see how it goes… I could run back with tail between legs. 😂

This is from ages ago. Waving lights at some glass.

Prior to 2022, unbeknownst to myself during my visit to Oxford, there wasn't information in regards to changing bus services across the city and county as part of Oxfordshire County Council's network review of services at the beginning of January 2022. That changed towards the end of November 2021 when it was revealed the changes that would take place following consultation with both Oxford Bus Company and Stagecoach West's Oxfordshire division.

For Oxford Bus Company, the company saw the withdrawal of the 500 between Oxford Station to Woodstock, located north of the city. During the journey, the 500 serves Oxford Parkway, served by two trains an hour by Chiltern Railways between Oxford and London Marylebone, and is expected to see services once East West Rail ever opens! The service previously operated every 30 minutes using one of 15 very smart Wright StreetDecks in two-tone purple.

Since 2nd January 2022, Stagecoach became the main operator to serve Woodstock and Oxford Parkway; the 500 replaced by the 7 which operates every 30 minutes, however the service only serves Oxford Station and Chipping Norton during peak hours only; typically the 7 will operate between Oxford, Magdalen Street and Woodstock for the majority of the day.

Wright StreetDeck 670 (SK66 HUO) turns into Broad Street, Oxford on 500 to Oxford Station.

This was so long ago I can't remember what the camera was being rotated in front of.

Some lights of some sort.

Picture was taken inside one of the largest factories in north Greece producing industrial stickers. These are some of their archives.

S - 50 iso/18° - Sound recording film. Camera: Canonet 28 Range Finder

Film "S" is a film used by motion picture professionals for sound recording, an use which requires very fine grain and ultra high definition. This sharpness is guaranteed by a special anti-halation layer located between the film's base and the emulsion layer, while its usually in back layer for ordinary films.
