Initially early 90s I stayed away from shooting videos I shot only stills but later after meeting an American photographer Boaz and a French photographer Francois while shooting Moharam in Hyderabad I decided to shoot videos on my mobile phone.
I shot prolifically but could not shoot further due to the lockdown and the pandemic I have not used my DSLR s last two years or more .
With my bypass surgery I lost my vision and herpes zoster made it worse .
I started downloading my smaller Flickr albums first on Windows Movie Maker later my elder son presented me a HP Laptop as my Dell got konked ,,I installed VSDC that is good no branding though I dont edit my videos I use it for slideshows only .
This year I was invited by the Qalandaris a Sufi order of Bu Shah Ali Qalandar Panipat to walk with the for annual pilgrimage Chadiyan I opted out as all my savings are gone much on my health and house upkeep though my son has been paying the home loan.
The people I work for in Bollywood as a stylist have delayed their projects a few have been shelved where I lost money owed to me ,
I know others like me are going through hard times but that is the reality that assaults the passion and reality of a photographers life luckily I have been a hobbyist photographer all my life.
Almost touching 70 I cannot change gears I have not studied much.. but all my life I have never been greedy never lusted for good things in life..,,my parents gave us a good upbringing without distorting the facts of life.
I have been absolutely cooperative helpful to all foreign photographer s who came to shoot Mumbai with me never borrowed a penny but some like Dr Glenn Losack MD helped me during my hard times post bypass surgery.
I gave up most of the social media platforms Facebook Instagram Twitter dont use Blogspot Tumblr Ello etc.
To keep in touch with friends I use Whattsup never liked Telegram never used Clubhouse at all.
After the Omicron scare all parks garden beaches were shut we resumed tennis two days back its tough as my legs pain a lot due to diabetes I get tired too to pass time I take care of my granddaughters java sparrows ..the girls have no time for them as they are busy with their online cases ..schools have opened but we are not sending them as a precaution.
Children vaccination of the young has not started from toddlers to those aged seventeen,
So this is life my end completing 15 years of Flickr in June 2022 ..From Buzznet a digital foundation of my life I joined Flickr had my ups downs lost good friends ,,but still connected to some ..I type with one finger so its tough following those who follow me .
I watch Old Westerns and mixed martial arts Shaolin ..
Thats about it.. this side of Mumbai ,
