Lefkada Island and city downtown.
This is a traditional colorful house rebuilt most probably after the dramatic earthquake of 1953. I was told that many houses were quickly rebuilt using corrugated steel sheets. It gives somehow a kind of atmosphere from houses in caribbean islands.

Aberdeen (i/æbərˈdiːn/) is an area on the south shore of Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. Administratively, it is part of the Southern District. Aberdeen Harbour is a harbour between Aberdeen and Ap Lei Chau. The name 'Aberdeen' usually covers the areas of Aberdeen, Wong Chuk Hang and Ap Lei Chau, but it is more often used to refer to the town only. Population is approximately 60,000.
Aberdeen is famous to tourists for its floating village and floating seafood restaurants located within the Aberdeen Typhoon Shelters. The Tanka people are generally associated with the fishing industry, and there are also several dozen expatriates living on boats in the harbour.
This is Passage Jouffroy in its section leading to Passage Verdeau. There, you will find many bookstores and art merchants, which make this section of the passage a fascinating one to visit.
The ghost town of Cuervo, New Mexico, is of course known for its remnants of the Mother Road. However, Route 66 and later Interstate 40, took out a huge chunk of the town's residential area. Cuervo was originally a railroad town.
The Bund, also called Zhongshan Dong Yi Lu (East Zhongshan 1st Road), is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. It is on the west bank of Huangpu River from the Waibaidu Bridge to Nanpu Bridge and winds 1500 meters (0.93 mile) in length. The most famous and attractive sight which is at the west side of the Bund are the 26 various buildings of different classic Western-architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance.
