An ornate copper door knob and beaded back plate/escutcheon lock set. Architectural salvage from a Chicagoland building slated for demolition.
With the demolition of the SuperValu grocery store in Penticton, scores of these shear plates were exposed. They were used with lag bolts to join the arched laminated beams that formed the unique curved roof. They are 4" (10 cm) in diameter. This one was photographed on display as part of the exhibit SuperValu Redux.
Trying to decide between this one and ImpossibleKnobSet5. Which one is better??? Input greatly appreciated.
