I made this small window to be sold at the KC RenFest. It was intended to look like an “architectural salvage” fragment of an ancient Medieval window. Note: in a more recent posting of a photo titled: "Our daughter & 'Bevan' the Troll, KC RenFest, circa 1988," behind Bevan's right shoulder, you can see the corner of this window hanging in our booth, for sale. ***This photo is a recently shot and re-edited duplicate of my original print, which had been taken in years past with a non-digital camera.***

An ornate copper door knob and beaded back plate/escutcheon lock set. Architectural salvage from a Chicagoland building slated for demolition.
A basilisk, I think, rather than a dragon. Like it, it's the sort of thing Mervyn Peake would have drawn.
Apologies for the end-of-day blurry shot. But it's all I have and this will no doubt have gone next time I'm here.

This pair of Hollywood regency style lion head ring pulls are made of cast brass. Pulls are center mounted and have a naturally-aged surface patina. See profile for more details.
Interior of Salvage One, and architectural salvage shop on Chicago's West side. Love the place, but it's a tad expensive.
While I was in Delavan to shoot the condemned historic building, I came across this fun artist studio just a couple of doors down. The owner, John was there and was nice enough to give me a tour. He also posts on flickr as Hetzel Collection

Such amazing stuff for sale in the parking lot outside Housewerks in Baltimore. I love the wire baskets. More about it here.
