Approximately 3200 feet above sea level, Kundadri Hill Station is a massive monolithic rock formation. Thick woods of evergreens envelop it.
A pond carved out of monolithic rock always holds water, as this area receives continuous rain for 4 months and 8 months of dry spell.
Approximately three-quarters of Jasper National Park's highest mountain peaks are located close to the icefield. These peaks due to their height and location catch a great amount of precipitation resulting in 7 meters of snow per annum.

From Wikipedia: The Madagascar ibis (Lophotibis cristata), also known as the Madagascar crested ibis, white-winged ibis or crested wood ibis, is a medium-sized (approximately 50 cm long), brown-plumaged ibis. It has bare red orbital skin, yellow bill, red legs, white wings and its head is partially bare with a dense crest of green or gloss blue and white plumes on the nape. The Madagascar ibis is the only member of the genus Lophotibis.
Description:
The Madagascar ibis, with a length of 50 cm (20 in), is among the largest birds in the Madagascar forest. The head is black and the upper parts are rufous brown. The chin, neck and throat and underparts are dark brown and the wing largely white. Part of the face is naked and red, including round the eye, and the crown and back of the neck bear a crest of long feathers which are black with a metallic sheen. In the subspecies L. c. cristata, the sheen is green and there are flecks of white; in the subspecies L. c. urschi, the throat, neck and crest have a greenish sheen mixed with yellowish-orange, and the body colour is darker chestnut. The iris is brown, the very long beak is horn-coloured and the legs and feet are red.

Ecology:
Its diet consists mainly of insects, spiders, frogs, reptiles, snails and invertebrates. The female usually lays three eggs in a platform nest made from twigs and branches.
Status:
The total population of this ibis is thought to be declining due to ongoing habitat loss, and overhunting in some areas, it being a favourite quarry. The bird is evaluated as being a near-threatened species on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species

ISTP ‘Handyman’ (Introverted, Senser, Thinker, Perceivier)
Thanne is a Fe-Matoran who originated as a sea-faring scavenger and ‘isolationist’ in the body of water surrounding the island of Yerinn. She, along with a couple of close friends, crewed The Minnow independent from the mainland, staying clear of the others who would hold her accountable, be they the Overguard, Pirates or other scavengers, with ease.
Yet even off-shore in open sea, she was not exempt from that massive explosion that originated from the island. Ash and rubble were flung absurd distances in every direction, and the water around the island in all its immensity was displaced. Without warning, the vessel she resided in was capsized in a surge of water, and her Vo-Matoran accomplice perished as she was trapped within her cabin as it went under. However, Thanne and her Onu-Matoran ship-mate managed to locate and cling to their emergency safe, and together they endured in freezing salt-water for hours on end.
They would have surely succumbed to their fate, were it not for the timely intervention of the Pirate-Toa Luciei. Upon chancing upon them, she extended the vast comforts of The Wavestrider towards them after a timely rescue. With nowhere else to go and no other option available, both the Onu-Matoran and Thanne took the offer to join Luciei’s Pirate Crew.
