In my flowermeadow, on a small patch of sheep's bit, I found a lot of small critters today.

A closer look. Based on my experience, this species is tend to be more aggressive than the common Apis cerana bee. This bee still sting even you do smoke them. This bee produce more honey than the common apis cerana.
The giant honey bee. Abohar, Punjab state, India. This species makes a large comb out in the open, often hanging from a tree limb, or on a wall. It's about twice as long as a European honey bee.

ROMA, 11.05.17 - Questa mattina 11 attivisti di Greenpeace travestiti da api operaie hanno inscenato uno sciopero, con tanto di picchetto, di fronte al Ministero delle politiche agricole, per chiedere il bando totale dei pesticidi neonicotinoidi. Gli attivisti hanno protestato mostrando uno striscione con la scritta “Stop ai pesticidi – Salviamo le api”, impugnando cartelli e scandendo slogan come “Niente api, niente cibo”.
