Cecilia Rey es una fotógrafa de naturaleza argentina con una amplia experiencia en la captura de imágenes de la flora y fauna de la región. Es conocida por sus imágenes detalladas y vívidas de la naturaleza, así como por su habilidad para capturar momentos únicos en la vida silvestre.
Rey ha recibido numerosos premios y reconocimientos por su trabajo, incluyendo el primer lugar en el concurso "Fotógrafo de naturaleza del año" en la categoría "Animales en su entorno". También ha sido finalista en el prestigioso concurso "Wildlife Photographer of the Year" de la BBC.
Su trabajo ha sido exhibido en importantes galerías y museos de todo el mundo, incluyendo el Museo de Historia Natural de Nueva York y el Museo de Arte de San Diego. También ha publicado varios libros de fotografía de naturaleza, incluyendo "La Pampa, un jardín natural" y "Aves del Iberá".

qualche giorno fa è stata celebrata la giornata delle api.
Per l'occasione una di loro ha pensato di venirmi a trovare.
Ha apprezzato tutti i miei fiori (vedere sotto), ma soprattutto l'erba cipollina.
Una visita che mi ha fatto molto piacere:

This Bee was busy
I have taken very few shots of Bees, but I do like and appreciate them. I was standing in a field by a pond waiting for birds to come in. The field was full of Yellow Hawkweed which attracted Goldfinches and many types of polinators.
When I posted this last evening, I did not know the species. Thanks to those who provided the ID,

Between limping to work and to the doctors I have not been able to take many photos lately. Over six weeks ago I was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma on my lower leg and had to go back to hospital to have a significant larger piece of skin removed. They could not pull my skin to completely close the wound (16 stitches) so it's still an open gash in the middle but seems to be healing slowly.
I am really not a suntanning kind of person and always preferred the shade but got it anyway. Please check the UV-Index before you go out and take precautions and put sunblock on yourself and your children/grandchildren!
