QUESTION: What's purple and filled with tons of hope?
ANSWER: Paint Second Life Purple Week !!!
The main purpose of Paint SL Purple Week is to promote awareness, to spread our message that there is hope that we WILL find a cure.
It is a week dedicated to showing our support, of raising awareness for Relay, through the simple act of using the color purple on as much as we possibly can.
When Paint SL Purple Week rolls around we want to see purple avatars, purple sims, purple ribbons, purple hair, purple clothes. If it exists in Second Life...we want it purple!
Spread the word to everyone you know. If you know a business or a club owner, as them to display the Paint Second Life Purple Sign and paint their store / club purple.
Hold Paint SL Purple events during the week, offer Purple Items for sale in the Relay Vendors.
When we look at the map during Paint Second Life Purple Week...we want to see it covered in Purple.
Start planning now...purple events for the week of May 1 - 8. ! Talk to people and ask them to join you in showing your support for Relay and Paint SL Purple.
Expand this beyond our volunteers and truly help us to bring this to the whole grid. Wouldn't it be amazing during that week to look at the map and see it ALL purple? Let's make that our goal!
We'd also like to visually document this week, so we ask that you take lots of pictures.
Send the pictures to Jasmine Night.
We will make them into a slideshow to post up on the website www.relayforlife.org/secondlife so everyone can see how proud we are to be a part of Relay!
So, get ready to take those pics of your funky purple hair, your fun purple events, your freshly painted purple house...if its purple, we're going to want to see it!

=========== HISTORY OF PAINT SECOND LIFE PURPLE =================
In 2008, a real life relay began holding an event called Paint The Town Purple in support of their Relay. During the American Cancer Society National Leadership Summit in 2008, Stingray9797 Raymaker (the American Cancer Society Representative in SL) and Trader1 Whiplash (then the Mission Chair For Relay in SL) heard about the Paint The Town Purple real life event and discussed how this concept could work in SL and very enthusiastically brought the idea back with them and introduced it to the Relay Committee, and the rest is history.... Paint Second Life Purple was developed and introduced in 2009 to the Second Life Community as one day event.
But given all the creativity and wonderful things that can be done in Second Life, we came to realize that one day was just not enough and it was over all too quick. In 2010 we extended this great event to a week long event to spread our Purple Message of Hope.

Hasil test saya : Trotoar 44 cm bukan masalah. Cukup deketin ban ke trotoar, masuk 4x4, injak kopling, masuk 1,lepas kopling, GA PERLU DI GAS, anda akan berdecak kagum!
