Trees: While I like them a lot (who doesn't) I don't really know much about them. I was surprised to find what is shown here:
This evergreen tree's new spring shoots forming right next to the cones that were the product the past year: alpha and omega juxtaposed. I guess it is standard behavior.
I think this is a kind of spruce common to central and northern Europe - Picea abies. What ever it is, the nearby German Black Forest is full of them. The main branches are huge, and smaller branches full of needles hang down from them. Please correct me if I am wrong about the kind of tree this is. .
Location: Moostal, Riehen BS Switzerland.

Yeah what to say now...maybe something about the movie.
It was... interesting.
First off it's a visual master piece. The world this movie shows is beautiful, full of details and enchanting creatures. "The cantina effect" how it is called... is really the best of the movie.
Yeah the movie has some problems, but the movie accomplishes to take you on a spectecular trip trough the galaxy.
If someone (who has read this) is planning to see the movie just reduce your expectations for a good story and enjoy the brilliant show.
That's it.

I encounter this Eurasian wolf last winter in Norway. Alpha she-wolf of her pack. A real beauty. Not shy, which explains the close photograph. And a disposition to bully her weaker fellows. As a fearful tourist, I was certainly a very weaker people but my Norwegian guide was clearly a super alpha person.

Marbles for Macro Mondays theme. I used decorative marbles in a giant sized martini glass. Camera handheld on the rim of the glass.
We all knew that if I acquired Covid 19 in combination with my underlaying Alpha-1 things could get a little tricky. I came back from Jersey on the Thursday, felt a little grotty on the Friday, ill on Saturday, tested positive on the Sunday and into hospial on the Monday and I have been here ever since! I was started on Dexamethasone and Paxlovid and had to be supported with oxygen. This morning, a bit like the parting of the Red Sea, my fever is down, headache has gone more importantly no breathlessness at rest so got out of bed and hopefully on a mends although Covid can throw swerve balls when you think you are getting better. Unfortunately at home my eldest, Abigail is also unwell and testing positive as well as Melanie who tested positive on Thursday night. All this and we have been vaccinated and boostered, just shows you that Covid is still out their and must not be taken for granted....
I am now waiting for a double negative Covid test and the all clear to get home but this may depend on Melanie and Abigail's status first, needing to be double negative before I am discharged, then the long hall of getting better and stronger over the next couple of months and hopefully no "Long Covid"
I have my laptop so in the meantime I shall continue to upload some photos when I feel up to it, still got all the Jersey photos to post, got to stop the brain fog and boredom somehow, must be getting better!
I am all that you see,
I am all that you want me to be!
I am god, and so the antichrist
I'm blessed, yet damned
I'm fallen, yet resurrected
I'm all of nothing!
"The Shrike was a modified Incom Corporation Alpha-52 starfighter prototype owned by Talon Karrde"
Modelled on the version used by Mara Jade in Mysteries of the Sith, this starfighter features wings that rotate between landed and flight mode with space for a single pilot in the cockpit.
Pile of pics.
Laying layers in photoshop and playing with opacity to get a pleasant mess.

Alpha Centauri is a star system, and is widely believed to be the closest to the solar system at a distance of 4.37 light years. ... The system can be observed by the unaided eye, and can be distinguished as one of the brightest stars in the night sky. THANKS FOR THE VISIT!!!
