Puente Romano ( Roman Bridge ) - the iconic symbol of Asturias in the town of Cangas de Onis, the first capital of Asturias and the gateway to the eastern part of the Picos de Europa mountain range.
The bridge was originally built by the Romans, but what we now can see dates from the 13th century. The cross hanging from the middle arch is a replica of the famous Cruz de la Victoria (Victory Cross), the official symbol of Asturias that celebrates the victory of King Pelayo over the Moors in the Battle of Covadonga in 722.

At night, the Chain Bridge looks very beautiful. The stone arch glows softly, and the lamps on both sides create a golden line across the bridge. The lion statues on each side appear clear in the light, and their shadows fall on the wet road.
From this angle, everything looks very neatly arranged—the lamps shine in rows, the cables curve upward, and the lights of the Buda side sparkle in the background. The whole scene feels calm, beautiful, and a little magical—as if the bridge is quietly watching over the city at night.

Not too bad for a shot that went wrong ( again ! ) , subject ended up very dark so only answer was to just go the whole hog and make it a silhouette . Oh , some may ask what bird it is , a robin who keeps hopping about on the fence and perching on the roof of the " Alpha Bug Hotel " which some of you may recall from my recent shot - " I Am Chaos " !
