Checking the other side of the stick to make sure that the alignment is perfect. It will be a long scan so we want to make sure that we are tracking the X-axis orientation of the ice-core stick. With everything aligned, we are ready to scan!

The alignment of the drive sprockets, rollers and rear idler on your standard Heng Long Pz IV is all wrong. The track on the ground is not parrallel to the return track rather the return track is high on the drive sprocket and slopes downwards to the rear idler.
Once you have an equal distance to the hubs with the steering centred, you can measure the relative distance between the front and rear of the wheel rim and the fishing line. My wheels were surprising close to my goal of 1 degree toe out either side - 8mm difference between front and back on my 15" wheels. I'd eyeballed the original alignment so had to make some minor adjustments but I was very surprised that the overall track was even close given the lack of any right angles on the chassis of go off of.
My rear toe is out rather than in but this shouldn't matter for the IVA so I'll sort that at some point in the future as it is a bit of a faff.

After a small off at Manfeild a few months ago, Fraser's supercharged, wide bodied EP3 Honda Civic is back on the road.
Once the chassis was straightened and the panels where repaired Fraser dropped the Civic off to STM to take care of the wheel alignment.

Route 66 (Alignment 1926-1959) - SE Beasley Rd.
Marsh Rainbow Arch Bridge (1923).
The bridge has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 10, 1983, in relation with Route 66 and is also a Kansas state landmark.
The bridge is narrow enough and because of the traffic on the road, a replacement bridge has been constructed. Today the road heads toward the new bridge in direction of Baxter Springs, but the old one-way road that goes toward Marsh Rainbow Arch Bridge can always be used. It was part of a compromise after a disagreement between the county and the association Routes 66 of the Kansas. The federal funds have been used for the construction of the new bridge and the county required the demolition of the old but as the bridge had been registered with the National Register, the association Routes 66 of the Kansas forbade its condemnation.

As the Winter Soltice approaches, the afternoon sun comes into alignment with the peephole in my front door. It travels across the wall, over a bookcase, and settles in a spot on the opposite side from the front door. I try to catch it and it disappears. Daily, it gets bigger. Maybe one day soon it will expand and fill me with light.

The westernmost end of the new George Street cycle lane experiment has this interesting arrangement for westbound cyclists. The plans from City of Edinburgh Council don't currently show how this section will operate.

Mt Banks (orientation shown by ruler): 65 degrees. Lyrebird prints: 95-118 degrees Note also the dissecting lyrebird print. Not convinced that this is a Mt Banks alignment as some suggest.
It is also commonplace amongst certain authors to refer to these as emu prints. They look nothing like actual emu prints and are in fact the size and shape of lyrebird prints.
