It's time to revert back to the autumn friends.
A contact friend of mine asserted that capturing of insects like butterflies and bugs is the most thrilling and exciting experience in photography as these creatures give you just a fleeting moment to push the shutter button. I fully endorse his view and here is the result of such encounter.

Have a great weekend, friends. The one before Christmas.
Time for down the memory lane !
I've been around as an active member of flickr for almost a year, having started my first upload on 25 June,2009. During this period I've framed and uploaded many exotic insects and flowers. Of these, the most memorable encounter was with the above Praying Mantis whose pose reminded one more of a boxer than anything to do with a prayer. It was ready to fight and fly on slightest provocation. It was so magnificent that I would like to reload and share with you all.
.
Thanks for your visit. Have a lovely Friday and Saturday .
The Yellow Gorgon butterfly(Meandrusa payeni)(male)
This species is supposed to be a rare one but not so here ! So far, I have posted this elegant species twice without furnishing the ID, calling it - the most elegant of them all that resembles a fairy . I traveled the wide world on net looking for its ID without success. Ultimately, I found the ID with my contact friend Balakrishnan Valappil . Hence, this upload is dedicated to my friend and guide right from the time I took interest in butterflies. balakrishnan_valappil
For details of this species here is a link
