After five days of heavy riding and little time for revelry, our little crew decided to have a night out in Lompoc. The six of us hitched a ride downtown in the cargo hold of a local family's Suburban where we found a great little bar and many a cold Negra Modelo each of which I cherished deeply.
At lunch for Day 4, the local AIDS support network in San Luis Obispo did a fundraiser BBQ lunch. They gave out packets of condiments and condoms with every sausage.
I believe that World History is a reflection of the thoughts, actions and words, of Human Beings. Therefore, I have choosen to be a positive addition to History. And, I strive to live a non- violent(ahimsa) and empowering way of life. [However, I'm not a saint/far from perfect].
In June 2010, for my 13th Year, I will participate in an event to benefit the S.F. AIDS Foundation called AIDS LifeCycle. Each year, I cycle 575 miles (from S.F to L.A, CA.). And, I complete the ride knowing I did the right

12 percent grade, 1500 feet elevation. I took it at the lowest gear I had and went up at about 3 mph.
And although the training rides are hard enough, each year, I must raise a minimum of $3000.00 to participate in the AIDSlifecycle, 7 day, 575 mile, bike journey from San Francisco to Los Angeles.
